Description

This is my 2nd entry for :iconliraen::iconvalaquia:’s Mythology contest. All I have to say is that I hope Avatar: The Last Airbender counts as mythology ^^;

I’m submitting this in the Digital Art category.

I chose to draw Ossyrieth (from Valaquia) and Alhena (Liraen) as firebenders. I used the relationship between Zuko and Azula as inspiration for this. Ossyrieth is the crazy, power-hungry Fire Lord, and Alhena would be the peasant girl that has returned to get her revenge for the death of her parents! (At least that’s how I imagined it out to be…)

Ossyrieth: Die, peasant!!!

Alhena: Uurgh!!

The original idea was to draw Ossyrieth, Alhena, and 2 other characters and each one would represent an element. But the thing was that Ossyrieth and Alhena both showed characteristics that fit firebending, so I decided to change it up a bit. I liked how it came out in the end :love:

You described Ossyrieth very well with his crazy mind, his fury and his impulse of destroy.
You draw Alhena so beautiful and elegant, I like a lot her dress!
