KnB OC: Miyake Anzu (colored)

As promised, the colored version of my Kuroko no Basuke OC, Miyake Anzu.
I wanted to make her look as close to the anime as possible, so I hope I succeeded.

Name: Miyake Anzu

Kanji: 三宅あんず

Gender: Female

Age: 16 (first year), 

Height: 178 cm (5'10")

Weight: 57 kg (125 lbs)

School: Seirin High

Role: Manager of Team Seirin

Appearance: Anzu has apricot-colored hair with apricot eyes. Her hair is usually kept down with two large strands of hair framing her face and her bangs pulled back with a clip. Her hair reaches a little passed her shoulders.

She is mostly seen in her school uniform with her sleeves rolled up (it's a habit). She looks older than her actual age, along with her tall stature, many people think she's a delinquent. According to Momoi, she has a “congratulatory” C-cup. She also wears a purple bracelet on her right hand that was given to her by her father, who passed away when she was 11.

Personality: Anzu is mostly quiet, but that doesn’t mean she’s antisocial. She doesn’t speak unless she’s spoken to. She is very obedient, particularly when it comes to her seniors (mainly Riko). She usually takes responsibility for after-school chores and errands the teachers ask her to do (for fans of Kimi ni Todoke, Anzu is very similar to Sawako, without the excessive blushing and more stoic).  

Her speech is straightforward and honest. She doesn't get embarrassed easily, but she will get slightly flustered if she’s complimented (especially if it’s by Riko or anyone on Team Seirin). If anyone thanked her for completing a task, she would give them a thumbs up and say “No problem” while still having a stoic face on.

She doesn’t mind what people say about her (for instance, she didn’t get insulted when Momoi knew her cup size. Plus it was true). But if someone were to insult anyone of Team Seirin, she would be infuriated. Even so, with a gentle and firm voice, she would tell them “Please don’t say that. It’s not nice.” And because of her intimidating appearance, the person would probably run off scared screaming an apology. Her lack of friends is also because of her appearance.

Even though she rarely shows emotion, she really likes Team Seirin and enjoys being their manager.

History: Anzu was part of her middle school’s volleyball team for 2 years. It was her way of dealing with the loss of her father. She also has an interest in running. Before practices, she would run some laps around the school. Before she started high school, her mother’s job moved to a new warehouse in Tokyo, and as a result, she had to move. She transferred to Seirin since it was closest to her new apartment.

Trivia: Her birthday is June 16, making her a Gemini. 

Anzu is severely allergic to dogs, but not afraid of them like Kagami is. She actually likes animals.

She is a great cook (she often makes meals for herself since her mom is seldom at home). However, the appearances of her dishes are often unappetizing, so most people that see them don’t want to eat them.

Her mother wants her to be a model just like her, but Anzu aspires to be a stunt woman for movies.

Anzu means “apricot” in English, which is the color of her hair and eyes.

Anzu is very athletic and participates vigorously in the sports festivals.

Story:  Anzu had to join a club, and she immediately picked volleyball and track, but because she had to pick only one, she was conflicted. One day she saw Riko coaching the basketball team, and after seeing how hard she worked, she was determined to be the manager because she wanted to help her as much as possible.
Another reason that Anzu looks up to her is because when she asked if there was manager, Riko was able to look past her daunting appearance and accept her as she was. Since Riko dealt with the team almost every day (and the fact that they were all taller than she was), Anzu’s height and appearance didn’t affect her.
